Individual Therapy
Individual talk therapy at the Center for Embodiment Medicine is a trauma informed, humanistic, somatically based treatment process where clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Sessions can happen in the office, through tele-health and in nature. Sessions generally involve talk therapy in addition to mindfulness practice, eco-therapy and expressive arts. Clients come out of treatment with a greater sense of well being and purpose in the world.

Assessment
The Center for Embodiment Medicine uses traditional psychological evaluation measures to offer diagnosis to aid in treatment and to receive accommodations in school and/or life. We then offer mind-body-spirit interventions based on our findings. Assessments can be used for needs such as school, IEP’s, social security applications and more*.
*Please note, We do not offer court evaluations.
Rates
The Center for Embodiment Medicine accepts Medi-Cal (Central California Alliance for Health and Partnership Health Plan) and can provide super bills for all other insurance carriers. Our goal is to serve a wide range of socio-economic statuses and create services that are available to all people. If you have questions about your insurance, please call your insurance carrier to inquire about your contracted reimbursement rate for out-of-network providers. For questions related to the cost of treatment, please send us an inquiry outlining what services you are needing and whether you are using insurance. Services through medi-cal are 100% free.
