About the Event
About the Event: Module 1 – The Body as Instrument
In this first module of the Embodiment Medicine Training, we begin with the foundation: the body itself. Therapists and healers are invited to discover the body as an instrument of awareness, expression, and healing. Through guided somatic practices, conscious movement, and expressive arts, participants will explore how sensation, gesture, and rhythm open pathways for connection to self and others.
We will cover:
Cultivating body-based presence in clinical work
Deepening awareness of posture, tone, and movement as therapeutic tools
Using the body as a compass for attunement and resonance with clients
Practices to regulate, ground, and expand embodied capacity
This immersive weekend offers both personal experience and clinical application, laying the groundwork for the integrative approach that defines Embodiment Medicine.
Please note: This is the first of three training modules, designed to be taken together as a complete series. Completion of all modules is required to receive the Certificate in Embodiment Medicine.
