Eating disorders affect people of every body size, yet people in larger bodies can face added barriers to being recognized, believed, and supported. Weight stigma may shape how symptoms are understood and can make it harder for clients to find care that feels safe.
Join Lucia Elder, ASW #141357, Supervised by Dr. Brian Lippincott, for a conversation about eating disorder treatment for people in larger bodies. Lucia will explore how weight stigma can show up in treatment and invite us to consider more compassionate, size inclusive ways of working with clients.
