In this experiential talk, Kelly Foster, AMFT#154620, guides participants through creative and somatic practices that help clients access body-based wisdom, express emotion, and make meaning through embodied awareness.Blending clinical insight with expressive arts and mindfulness, Kelly demonstrates how therapists can use body mapping to support trauma integration, deepen therapeutic attunement, and cultivate self-compassion.

Kelly Foster (she/her), AMFT#154620 is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at the Center for Embodiment Medicine, working under the supervision of Kim Gengler LMFT#132419. Kelly is dedicated to creating inclusive, accessible spaces where people of all backgrounds and abilities feel seen, valued, and welcome.With a trauma-informed and somatically oriented approach, she brings both deep wisdom and a playful spirit to her work—helping clients reconnect with their bodies, navigate life transitions, and rediscover a sense of wholeness. Drawing from psychodynamic and humanistic traditions, Kelly views therapy as a journey of returning home to oneself, guided by compassion, curiosity, and embodied presence.
