Join us on Hawaiʻi's Big Island for an unforgettable 7-day, 6-night continuing education retreat designed for LMFTs, AMFTs, LPCCs, APCCs, LCSWs, and ASWs. ( CE's for Psychologists Pending approval)

Earn 36 CE hours while immersed in experiential learning, breathtaking natural landscapes, and meaningful community. Course topics include Eco-Therapy, Expressive Arts, Embodiment Medicine, ethics and law, and clinical supervision, blending evidence-based education with restorative experiences.

Your retreat includes:

CAMFT Approved Provider: The Center For Embodiment Medicine #1032876 Course completion certificates will be emailed 1 day after the lecture. Course meets the qualifications for 1 hour of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. The Center For Embodiment Medicine is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFT's and LPCC's The Center For EmbodimentMedicine maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. 

Instructor Qualifications:

Dr. Rachel Jordana Horodezky, PsyD (PSY25159) is a licensed psychologist, embodiment teacher, and founder of the Center for Embodiment Medicine. Her work integrates somatic psychology, conscious dance, expressive arts, eco-therapy, and traumainformed clinical practice. She provides training and consultation to mental health professionals throughout California. 

Dr. Lippincott is a psychologist and supervisor at the Mental Health and Wellness Center at De Anza College. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College of California in 1978, completing a Great Books program called the Integral Curriculum of the Liberal Arts. He immediately earned his master’s degree in psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 1981. Later, he attended Pacifica Graduate Institute, where he obtained his doctorate in 1992 with a focus on depth psychology. Dr. Lippincott is a licensed marriage and family therapist as well as a licensed clinical psychologist in California. He has maintained a private practice since 1985. In 1992, he returned to John F. Kennedy University and has since been a faculty member, teaching every quarter in programs such as the Master's in Psychology for MFT and LPCC, or the PsyD program. His courses include clinical case seminars, group process, and other clinical and research classes.

Harvey Cohen is a senior Marriage and Family Therapist who founded the Center for Humanistic Development and has been a professor at JFK (Now National University for 20 + years). He believes change can be difficult. It usually involves loss, loss of relationship, employment, or loved one. It can also put us in a position for personal growth. Our transitions group is designed to deal with the losses and the opportunities for growth in the process. He holds groups that are held in his office, nature, and Hawaii.
