About the Event

Join us on Wednesday, March 10, 2027, from 11 am–noon PT on Zoom for Beyond the Therapy Door: Rethinking Mental Health Access for Latinx Communities, led by Kimmy Jacobson, AMFT #158186, supervised by Dr. Brian Lippincott, PSY #14786.

This talk and discussion will explore barriers that can shape access to mental health care in Latinx communities, including stigma, language, cultural expectations, and systemic inequities. Together, we’ll consider how culturally responsive care, community relationships, and a broader understanding of support can help create more welcoming pathways to care.

Participants are invited to bring their questions, reflections, and experiences for a shared conversation about expanding access and building trust beyond the therapy room.
