About Me

Dr. Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Director, and educator at the Center for Embodiment Medicine. She is also a certified 5Rhythms® teacher, yoga teacher and the proud mother of two young boys.

Dr. Horodezky specializes in humanistic and existential therapy, ecotherapy, and EMDR, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care. In addition to her therapeutic work, she leads a psychological assessment clinic that blends traditional assessment tools with holistic, integrative recommendations.

She earned her undergraduate degree from McGill University in 2004 and has served as adjunct faculty at several institutions, including John F. Kennedy University, where she taught expressive arts therapy. Her academic and clinical work has been recognized with multiple honors, including the 2004 APA Award for her undergraduate thesis and an Academic Award of Excellence from JFK University.

Dr. Horodezky also offers 5Rhythms and Embodiment Medicine movement classes and workshops, which she integrates into her therapeutic offerings to support embodied healing and personal growth.
